Licenses
At the Microelectronics Design Center we host a number of license servers to provide access to a wide range of electronic design automation (EDA) tools for the design of integrated circuits and design of FPGA projects. We make licenses available to all groups within ETH domain for educational and research purposes (see our regulations page for more details). If your group is involved in commercial activities we can help you find solutions with the respective EDA companies, please contact us.
We have licenses available for most of the major EDA vendors such as Cadence Design Systems, Mentor Graphics, Synopsys, Altera and Xilinx. Please check our EDA Wiki page for up to date information about licensing, please remember there are certain regulations governing the use of these licenses. Please contact us if you have any questions.
We have also licenses available to program Texas Instruments Microcontrollers/Microprocessors and ARM-Cortex-M microcontrollers. In particular we have licences (no-limit code) for Texas Instruments Code Composer 7.0 and ARM Keil (available from January 2018). Altium PCB designer software can be also provided. Please contact us if you have any questions.
