The Microelectronics Design Center (shortly called DZ for Designzentrum) is a technical support group of the Department of Information Technologies and Electrical Engineering (D-ITET) providing design tools, know-how and licenses for ASIC, FPGA, Embedded Systems and PCB design for research and teaching.

The Microelectronics Design Center can help you with:

Designing your own ASIC

We assist in ASIC design, offer tools, licenses, environment, feasibility advice, and help with ASIC manufacturing

Developing your embeded systems

We help create embedded systems with FPGAs, microprocessors and microcontrollers for IoT, offering solutions and advice

Enhancing your embedded systems

We help enhance embedded systems with low power design, sensor interfaces, energy harvesting, and wireless solutions

Getting your PCBs designed

We assist with designing, reviewing, manufacturing, and assembling your PCBs

Lectures

We offer lectures on technical subjects, practical exercises, training, and tutorials
